Tour de Chance
OVERVIEW
Tour de Chance is an experiential art installation inspired in early 1900s Tour de France. I designed a flyer for their annual bike race, using a Tour de France commemorative poster from 1925 as the inspiration.
I redrew the cyclist, aiming to capture the style of the original lithograph print by René Emile Durand-Roy, then designed a new background map tailored to the city where our race took place. Typography, layout, and color choices were selected to echo early 20th-century printing techniques while maintaining clarity for a modern audience.
